Acupuncture is a form of medicine in which thin, sterile needles are inserted into specific points along the body’s energy pathways, or meridians. The goal of acupuncture is to bring a balance to the body’s Yin and Yang energy by adjusting its “Qi” or life force. Various needling techniques and adjunctive therapies are utilized to improve function, eliminate pain, and restore homeostasis for patient healing.
